Administrative Assistant X1

As a member of the Community Network Development team, the job holder will plan, administer and evaluate a range of learning workshops and activities delivered through our Community Network Group social model of learning and support; ensuring the timely and accurate provision of information to all those who access or come into contact with the organisation. The job holder will work collaboratively and flexibly with the rest of the team to meet the needs of families accessing the Community Network Groups and towards the successful achievement of team and organisational objectives.

Candidates must:

* Possess strong administrative, planning, organisation and time management skills; with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the rest of the team; with a resourceful and confidential manner

* Be skilled and experienced in using the full MS Office suite, ideally Office 365

* Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written) offering a welcoming, friendly, professional and positive experience for all who access and come into contact with the organisation

* Ability to record/input accurately and produce high quality information and reports to meet the needs of the organisation. Preferably, skilled and experienced in using IT systems such as client relationship management systems/databases

* Preferably have genuine insight, knowledge and understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and the needs of, and challenges faced by families living with neurodevelopmental conditions

* Good working knowledge of information governance and safeguarding and either possess up to date training accreditation or achieves within agreed timescales

This post is for 9 hours per week working primarily from the office (currently based in Speke) as well as providing support to the rest of the Community Network Development team including supporting the delivery of holiday family activities/attending community events and contributing to team and partnership meetings.

This post is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance and it would be beneficial if the job holder possesses a full clean driving license, drives and has access to their own vehicle to support the Community Network Development team.

This post is funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund up to 31st May 2022. Rate of pay is £10 per hour.
