Overview

This new role comes to market from an international power generation business seeking an experienced craftsperson to join them at their Nottingham plant. An evolving business they specialise in both energy generation and energy services internationally allowing them to offer you a varied and dynamic role. Joining as C&I craftsperson you will need to enjoy fault finding and equipment testing as you work to provide maintenance and corrective solutions related to site’s control systems and instrumentation. Your role will include working on a diverse mix of established and new plant technology. Further key responsibilities will include: - Use of test equipment to diagnose faults with control systems and current loops - Undertaking maintenance, recognising faults and taking corrective action related to field transmitters, resistance thermometers and thermocouples - Use of PLC software systems to aid fault diagnosis - Contribute to commissioning activities - Carry out planned and unplanned plant maintenance - Support and assist engineering projects for plant modification - Input data recording carried out maintenance, any defect root causes identified and findings to the company SAP system. Sound Interesting? To carry out this role they are seeking an Apprentice trained or HNC/HND/Degree qualified engineer able to demonstrate expertise in control and instrument engineering maintenance within a large scale plant environment. You must also be able to demonstrate a clear knowledge of safe working practices as well as being able to read and interpret electrical schematic, loop, and P&ID drawings.
