What you’ll be doing This is an exciting role working for a genuinely ethical business with a valued People (Human Resources) Team. We now have staff numbers in excess of 700, employed across a wide range of sectors – from farming to production to hospitality, and head office functions such as finance, IT, marketing, customer services and e-commerce. There’s been lots of development in the business recently, and a number of exciting People projects are on the horizon. We’re seeking a People Administrator with excellent administrative skills to support our busy, fast-paced team. This is a varied role, and a great opportunity to really learn what goes on in the People Team, gaining some valuable experience and knowledge within a diverse, challenging business. Your responsibilities - Process leaver paperwork, notifying IT and Payroll accordingly - Filing - set up and maintain personnel files (paper and computerised) - Maintain, input and update various employment data on our HR System - Point of contact for queries regarding the HR System - Receive forms and capture key information - Carry out contract amendments, and update Payroll on pay changes and amendments - Run various reports for team KPIs - Driving licences for hire car arrangements and those driving for work - Manage one and three-month reviews - Maintain the training matrix and manage bookings for mandatory training - Update organograms - Carry out purchase orders and invoicing administration for the People Team and book accommodation and car hire - Data protection training and People HR software training for new starters - Assist with our yearly profit share and pay increases - Provide reference requests - To be a general support for the People Team Skills & experience - Previous administration experience in a busy office environment - Experience in a HR/People department is desirable - A genuine interest and enthusiasm to work in the People function of a business - Excellent administrative and organisational skills - Good numeracy and accuracy for managing and monitoring large amounts of data Personal qualities - Friendly and approachable in manner - Maintains confidentiality, discretion, and respect at all times - Shows flexibility and empathy and demonstrates a very proactive, pragmatic, and forward-thinking approach Other companies may call this role Administrator, HR Administrator, HR Assistant, Human Resources Administrator, Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, Admin Assistant or Team Administrator.
