Overview

IT Operational Security Analyst About you - IT Operational Security Analyst You will have experience of Vulnerability Management Solutions (e.g. Tenable, Rapid7), an understanding of OWASP and a background in Active Directory administration and configuration together with Windows Server & Desktop infrastructure and a good understanding of LAN (Local Area Networking). You will also have some experience of VMWare or other virtualization technologies together with an understanding of ITIL. Any of the following would be advantageous: Linux, Shell scripting, Microsoft Exchange administration & deployment, penetration testing, understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure, Security Incident Management or Investigation About the role - IT Operational Security Analyst The IT Operational Security Analyst is a vital role within the Security organisation. This role reports to the IT Security Operations Manager and a technical role suited to an individual with a background in infrastructure technical operations. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the organisations security tooling (Vulnerability Management, Patch Management and Remediation, Automated Behavioural Analytics) You will also identify and analyse Information Security risks, investigate security incidents and be responsible for writing security incident reports. You will also assist with regular penetration testing of the organisation's Web Application estate by working with key specialists and third parties. Benefits In return you will receive a salary of up to £42,000 plus over-time (which will be available from time to time) and a first-class benefits scheme including, profit related bonus scheme, 24 days annual leave and life assurance of four times your salary.
