Job Description

Player-manager required to join cutting-edge information business, including high-value enterprise sales, data sales and an established, market-leading global conference. This means leading and developing a talented and successful sales team (currently two people) and being responsible for maximising sales performance as well as delivering your own sales and leading by example. The culture is fun, dynamic and entrepreneurial. It's small enough (12 people) to get really involved in the business and it's fast moving - they are going places. Responsibilities Sell our specialist, high-value business-to-business information service and outstanding international conference. Manage the team to expand our customer base by adding new business and continue our excellent record of growing the value of existing customers. Location in North London. Requirements We are a hands-on, successful business and you will need to be both a mature self-starter and a great team player. You will need good experience in selling B2B information products, ideally including data services as well as conferences, but must include some online subscriptions or membership services. The aptitude to use Salesforce effectively and ideally some experience of doing so. An excellent people manager with a coaching style that has been shown to develop others. Emotional intelligence will be key.
