Job Overview and Responsibilities You will take responsibility for ensuring products and parameters are in control within established process and facilitate improvements. You will also provide customers with technical support on testing issues and continuous improvements of quality systems. Key responsibilities Include: Day To Day Operations + Work closely with our production teams to monitor, reinforce and communicate all customer issues, quality escapes and other systemic quality issues. + You will document and keep track of non-conformances for incoming materials, internal departments, and customers. + Analyzes quality issues and develop corrective actions; including customer notifications, rework, waste and other cost of quality contributors. + Take ownership of the maintenance of quality documentations. + Represent Solvay in a professional manner when engaging with our customers during all correspondence including site visits taking responsibility to ensure/display preventive systems are place. Training + Coach and mentor colleagues in quality assurance principles and methodology. Ensure operators are adequately trained to undertake the quality standards in accordance with customer and or quality system requirements. Performance + To proactively get involvement with Internal Audits to ensure compliance to quality standards and drive continuous improvements. + Support our plant Quality team in preparation for and conduct of external audits. + Maintains quality process stability to ensure favourable customer ratings, confidence and future business. Education and Experience Education: + Degree desirable, background in manufacturing or science. + Internal Audit Qualification Work History & Experience + Significant experience in inspection/quality/process engineering function in manufacturing environment. + Demonstrated experience in problem solving and root cause analysis. Skills + A good understanding of manufacturing processes and value chain. + Ability to understand key operational metrics and communicate these across our organization to achieve clear alignment and focus. + Ability to demonstrate your knowledge of quality systems including; ISO9001/AS9100/NADCAP/IATF 16949 requirements. + Key Skills:Internal Audit, Problem Solving, SPC & Process Capability, Customer Experience. + Desired skills:PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, PSW's. + Ability to build effective working partnerships with colleagues to ensure cross-functional teams are working collectively to solve quality problems.
