Overview
The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills and be competent with an IT background. A leading IT service provider has a job requirement for a First Line Analyst to join their growing team in Nottingham. Our client, who operate in over 70 countries and have over 10,000 employees in Europe alone, are Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services who implement the most appropriate technology from a wide range of vendors to manage their technology infrastructure on their client's behalf. However, the most important part of their company are the services they provide, which is where you come in. Your new job in Nottingham In your new job as a First Line Analyst in Nottingham you will utilise your excellent IT skills and provide an excellent telephony and desk side support service to the end users. You will assist in a variety of technical tasks including systems such as Active Directory and Mail Exchange. You will need to be flexible between the hours on 7am - 7pm with occasional weekend work. What you'll need to succeed The successful First Line Analyst based in Nottingham will have excellent organisation skills and you'll be competent with an IT background where you have been involved in dealing with IT technical issues. You will need a minimum of 6 months experience. Day to day duties and expectations· Call taking across multiple contracts· Queue management· Good time keeping (scheduled adherence).To deliver outstanding service by understanding users IT and business needs· To provide centralised advice and support to customer in line with contractual arrangements.· Flexible working approach due to working hours.· Be able to deal with upset users from all levels of the business· Provide single point of contact for contract users· Develop and maintain rapport with end users· Able to differentiate between numerous customer applications. Skills/experience required in detail· Good communication skills· Able to use active listening skills to know what users are asking· Proven customer service skills· Positive, enthusiastic and supportive· Ability to work under pressure· Effective keyboard skills· Ability to take ownership of incidents an resolutions· Be able to talk and type· Good troubleshooting/ problem solving skills· Basic IT knowledge-Microsoft products, Word, Excel and Outlook.
