Service Manager job, based in Littlehampton, West Sussex. Permanent role full-time. Your new company An exciting job opportunity has occurred within an established company who provide care to clients taking a step towards independent living. The residence you will be supporting have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health, complex and challenging behaviour. This home has received an overall "Good" rating from CQC and are looking for a Service Manager to come in and obtain the high quality of care. Your new company is passionate about providing a friendly and caring environment for their residents. Your new role Your new role will be to complete the duties and responsibilities of a Registered Manager. A key responsibility as Registered Manager is to provide a safe and secure environment for the residents and staff members. You will be overseeing two sites, one with eight residents and the other with six residents. As Service Manager you must be ensure that the home meets the requirements of CQC and current legislations. You will have to ensure that Infection Control and Safeguarding Policies and Procedures are implemented and that all records are accurate and up to date. In your new role you will be expected to work 5 days a week, flexibility is required due to the nature of the role. You will be expected to part take on the on-call rota. What you'll need to succeed You will need experience as a Registered Manager (or similar experience) with Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willing to complete. To be successful you must have experience with care of the elderly or dementia. You will have experience with CQC. The ideal candidate will have experience with mental health. To be successful you will be flexible, good at communication and great administration skills. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills and have a clean driving license. What you'll get in return What you will get in return in your new role: Up to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience.
