Litigation Solicitor (NQ - 1 year PQE) £37,000 -£40,000 A highly regarded legal practice with multiple offices is seeking a newly qualified or 1-year PQE Commercial Litigation and Property Litigation Solicitor from a reputable firm to join their leading Dispute Resolution team in Guildford. The team and wider firm are highly accredited in the Legal 500 and Chambers UK and many of their Solicitors are personally recommended for their work. Areas of Commercial Litigation and Property Litigation you will be dealing with include: Director, shareholder and partnership disputes and Companies Act claims including unfair prejudice and derivative claims Commercial and contract disputes including supply & distribution contracts, breach of warranty & indemnity claims and claims against guarantors Corporate fraud, asset tracing and obtaining freezing injunctions Insolvency litigation, both corporate and personal Franchise disputes IP claims Commercial property litigation including dilapidation claims, business lease renewals, claims relating to breach of lease covenants and development and joint venture disputes Construction disputes Professional negligence (particularly solicitors, accountants/financial services, surveyors and architects) The ideal candidate will have: A good honours degree followed by LPC, training contract and PSC / or a good honours degree with CILEX to Fellow level, LPC and PSC and admitted by SRA as a solicitor Preferably experience in Commercial Litigation and Property Litigation Possess a strong legal background within litigation law Experience of managing a busy, mixed caseload Experience of case preparation A following of own clients is desirable but not essential Legal research and legal drafting experience Business development and networking skills Demonstrates and develops a high-quality level of technical expertise.
