Overview
Print Finisher - Gluer Location: Cambridgeshire - Wisbech Salary: DOE Shift Enhancement Company: A leading European flexible packaging manufacturer. Role: Finishing Operative / Gluer - This is a great opportunity for either an experienced candidate with gluing experience OR a candidate with print finishing experience who can be trained Trainee Level through to No.1 Minders. Monitor and control carton quality Maximise machine efficiencies Minimise Downtime Ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to (e.g. PPE, health and safety, hygiene and operational standards) Ensure machine speeds are always optimised Ensure effective shift handover is carried out Maintain good housekeeping Product Quality (Production based role) Operate to at or below make ready and running waste targets. Requirements: Experience running a Bobst or Jagenberg - preferable Gluing experience - preferable General print finishing experience Understand the basics in major printing processes Excellent communicator (written and verbal) at all times. Great attention to detail Friendly, approachable and flexible - a team player Good attendance and timekeeping Training given to candidates with generic print finishing Apply: Please email your full CV details to us.
