Site Logistics Manager - Birmingham
Overview
Nayr Recruitment are currently working with a very specialist subcontractor who are extremely busy across the UK on various new build projects in various sectors. I am looking to source a Site Logistics Manager on a large new build development in the Birmingham area This will be starting end of March 2020 with a contract length of 6 months for the right candidate. Main Duties of role: Management of the day to day site access operations and vehicle management Responsible for controlling access to the gate on site Ensuring all visitors / deliveries to site are registered to company online booking system Liaison with the general public in regards to site operations, restrictions, health & safety Responsible for ensuring safe and secure opening and closing of site and following all security protocols Managing waste and skips on site Dealing with sub-contractors on site Coordination of deliveries ensuring this is done in a safe and timely manner Experience: Must have previous experience in this type of role on a large construction site Must have supervisory / management experience plus banksman CSCS Card essential SMSTS or SSSTS desirable but not essential.
