Role: Mechanical Designer/Draughtsman Basis: Permanent Location: Gloucestershire - Gloucester/Stonehouse Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 Industry: Engineering This is an excellent opportunity to work on the design of bespoke equipment within the oil and gas sector at an exciting time with the company in a significant period of growth. Knowledge and experience in the following would be distinctly advantageous: Creating 2Ddrawings and designs with intermediate complexity Creating 3D models for subassemblies and machined parts. Producing Bill of Materials (BOM) knowledge of ISO drafting standards and experience in ASME Performing basic calculations related to design assessment (tolerance stack, etc) Working knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD or similar packages essential This is a great opportunity to join a global leader in the development of engineering innovations for the Oil and Gas industry.
