We have an exciting opportunity, not to be missed At SV Cuisine we are currently looking for a Butcher to join our team based in Wednesbury . The successful candidate will join us on a full time basis and will receive a competitive hourly rate of £8.96 per hour. SV Cuisine is an Operational Company of Hilton Food Group Plc from 2019. Dedicated to the supply of Slow Cooked meat products since 2014, we have an excellent reputation for delivering restaurant quality meat products to our customers. About the Butcher role: You will ensure all product is inspected at the Butchers station, processed where required, and passed to the packing area meeting standards outlined in the retail specification. Working hours: 6:30am – 2:30pm Key responsibilities of our Butcher: - Ensure all equipment used for processing product is at the required factory standard for achieving target yield. If not bring to the attention of the Line Leader or Supervisor immediately and assist the corrective action where appropriate. - Ensure any deviations from the agreed specification with regards to primal quality are immediately brought to the attention of the Line Leader or Supervisor. - Ensure all tasks are carried out efficiently and contribute to the achievement of team targets. - Ensure Product Yields are met while not compromising on Quality. - Play a central role in the introduction of new products on the production line to ensure all staff involved are aware of the products key attributes in order to ensure the end product meets the expectations of the customer. - Provide assistance to the Line Leader when training new staff. - Ensure all Hygiene standards are fully met and ensure Audit ready at all times. - Process all Raw material to the correct retail specification and target yield %. - Take a leading role in ensuring the production line is delivering on product quality. - Proactively engage the Team Leader with ideas for product and personal development. - The Individual is responsible for signing in and out daily their knives and sharpening equipment.
