Overview
Akton Recruitment are looking to fill a vacancy for a Care Worker. Working with the local authorities in a day centre. The position is initially on a 1 month rolling contract dependant on performance but would look to be extended. The working hours are 9:00-15:00 Monday to Friday and pays £12.50PH Umbrella. We are looking for people with recent experience as a care worker and with up to date certificates such as moving and handling. The Role- To provide high quality personal, social and emotional care for clients within day care setting. To care for and be aware of the needs of people who attend a day centre and help them achieve a fulfilled, self-determined and dignified life. To take part in the care planning process and provide care for individual clients to meet the objectives of agreed personal care plans. To work within the sections philosophy of care at all times, promoting equality of opportunity, choice, privacy, dignity, rights independence and fulfilment for clients. Requirements- Available to start immediately Current DBS Moving and Handling Certificate Infection Control Certificate Food Hygiene Certificate Recent experience as a Care Worker Please note the requirements are minimum requirements and applicants will not be considered without the required experience.
