Overview
Registered Nurse £32,000 per year Weston-super-Mare This role is full-time working 36 hours per week with a shift pattern of; 7am – 11pm, 1pm – 7pm or 7am – 7pm My client is an independently run nursing home, specialising in caring for adults over 65 with Sensory Impairments, Physical Disabilities, Dementia, Eating Disorders and Learning Disabilities. Priding themselves on their holistic approach to care and homely feel. Key responsibilities: · To work collaboratively with and assist Matron in promoting a comfortable, therapeutic and above all safe environment for residents · Demonstrate effective leadership skills to motivate your care staff · Deliver high levels of nursing care whilst on shift in line with policies · Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans, consciously involving residents with their own management · Contribute to the development and progression of nursing care policies Requirements: · Have experience leading a team in a Registered Nurse role · Be registered with the NMC · Have full comprehensive knowledge of statutory bodies; Social Services, Health and Safety Executive, Health and Hygiene, Fire Department, CCG and CQC · Have a naturally caring nature · An effective communicator and able to delegate tasks in line to prioritised needs Benefits My client offers a range of generous benefits including; £22.70 p/h rate on Sundays, double time on Bank Holidays, premium rates for overtime and once 10 weeks of service is reached 5.6 weeks annual leave, plus many more This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89737108
