Occupational Therapist - Bury

Piers Meadows Recruitment are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work with our NHS client in Bury. Our contact is currently looking to recruit an experienced member of staff to join their service. Desired Experience: NHS experience at Band 6 level, or strong equivalent overseas experience. Previous experience working within a mental health service is required. 22.5 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months and is likely to be extended. The client can be flexible with the days you work. Job Description: To plan and implement individualised and group therapeutic assessments and interventions for service users aged 18 - 65 years who are inpatients within the Mental Health Unit. To collaboratively work with service users and members of the multidisciplinary team in establishing clear goals and recommendations that will assist in the recovery process whilst people are resident on the acute wards and during the transition period back into the community. The Occupational Therapist will lead on continuing to develop the Recovery and Inclusion Worker role and service development projects.
