Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for an HV Electrical Plant Engineer to be working for a reputable heavy industry business near Goole. The successful HV Electrical Plant Engineer will form a key part of the Plant Maintenance Engineering capability in ensuring the safety and reliability of our assets. Working Hours Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30 Salary: £40,000-£50,000 (depending on experience) HV Electrical Plant Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Include: Fulfil the requirements of site Electrical Duty Holder Support operations to maintain production assets and improve the reliability and efficiency in order to deliver plant objectives Site ATEX compliance - Responsible person as per IEC60079-17 Provide engineering support to operations and maintenance with asset management and fault finding Provide technical and safety advice on matters relating to the Electrical Policy and Electrical legislation requirements Develop and improve the capabilities of the Electrical Maintenance function The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or comparable relevant experience IOSH managing safely and have thorough understanding of health and safety High level problem solving / root cause analysis Experience with 66kv, 11kv and 400v power distribution, generators and UPS Experience in a similar role If you want to discuss this position in more detail, please call Kerry Hill at Elevation Recruitment Group.
