Overview
Synchro are currently working exclusively on site with a household brand in Cheltenham and recruiting on their behalf for a Contract Automation Test Engineer (JavaScript) / Software Developer in Test (SDET). We are seeking additional contract resource to help with the testing of our client's web-based platforms as they embark on the architecture and redevelopment of their core systems into a mirco services solution. Our client's ecommerce business has experienced incredible growth in recent years and we are looking for someone with experience of testing web based platforms / web browsers ideally using JavaScript. You must also have experience of taking ownership of work and working in cross functional teams. Skills required: Proven experience in writing automated test scripts using JavaScript Experience of using automation tools such as Selenium / Cucumber etc Web UI Testing experience Knowledge of JIRA Excellent communications skills Beneficial experience: Automated CI/CD Pipeline Git version control eCommerce testing experience ROLE: Automation Test Engineer (JavaScript) - Software Developer in Test (SDET) LOCATION: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire DAY RATE: £450 LENGTH: 6 months initially Please contact Ryan James at Synchro to explore this fantastic exclusive opportunity further or apply through this job posting and we will be in touch shortly.
