Department: Department of Education, Sport and Culture Hours Per week: 37 Are you an experienced, trusted and compassionate Practitioner Psychologist, recently qualified or about to complete your accredited professional training? Our client is looking to appoint an Educational Psychologist to join their team on the beautiful Isle of Man. Successful applicants will be awarded a Recruitment and Retention allowance of up to £5,819.61 p/a in addition to their salary Our clients service framework prioritises early interventions and development work, alongside high quality complex casework within the Island's schools and communities. They provide time for creative and reflective practice and support, along with excellent IT provisions. Who our client is looking for? You will have Psychology Degree (or equivalent), conferring graduate basis for registration with the BPS, along with a Masters Degree and/or Doctorate in Educational Psychology, or Clinical Psychology (or award pending), that provides eligibility for British Psychological Society Chartered status. You will also be HCPC registered, or in the process of registering, pending confirmation of award and have experience of working with children and young people. You will have understanding of psychological theories and their application to children and young people. In addition, you will have a good understanding of a consultative approach to delivery of psychology, including how this informs individual casework and systemic work. As you'll be working with a broad range of audiences, excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively will be key to ensuring success.
