Overview
Support Worker - Brain Injury Client We are recruiting for support workers to do 2 day shifts a week to provide support for a male brain injury client with peg feeding, medication, blood sugar monitoring, personal care and close supervision during the weekday`s , in their house in Camden Town area. 1:1 supervision is required at all times. Shift pattern: 10.00 - 16.00 (Monday to Friday) Hourly Pay: £9 Full training will be provided. You will be responsible for: Supporting vulnerable service user gain their independence Managing challenging behaviour and understanding the trigger points Maintaining a high standard of support, focusing on the service-users` well-being Encouraging service user to be as productive as possible Providing personal care as required Use of equipment`s such as Blood sugar monitoring and Peg feed What we require from candidates: Flexibility and Reliability Passionate about the care of vulnerable people with various health issues Must have good level of spoken and written English Must be eligible to work in the UK The following experience would be an advantage: Experience of working with Brain Injury clients Supported living/Domiciliary care
