Overview
Class 2 Driver- Spider is advertising on behalf of a highly successful shipping company who are privately and independently owned and operated. They provide both domestic and international logistics and handle import consignments from full containers to individual items from port to distribution centres or to our customers. They are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver , to join their team. As a Class 2 Driver , the job entails local Multi-drop pallet runs in and around NR postcodes. Other key duties include: Deliveries and collections to include use of a tail-lift and pallet truck for deliveries The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes: Valid counterbalance Forklift truck license (this is preferable but not essential). Hold a class 1 license (this is preferable but not essential). This Class 2 Driver position is a Full- Time position. The general working hours are 07:00 – 16:00. Basic Pay - £9.25 per hour for 45 hrs per week Telematics Bonus scheme – vehicles are monitored on how they are driven and produce a score related to safe and efficient driving. Depending on your weekly reviewed score you could receive: Score 7 – 7.9 £10.00 Score 8 – 8.9 £15.00 Score 9 – 10 £20.00 All drivers are expected to achieve a minimum score of 7.
