Overview

My client is the UK subsidiary of one of the leading Italian furniture companies working in the luxury contract market for multi-apartments. The Contract Division delivers furniture and joinery packages & solutions to a range of high end residential projects primarily for developers and blue-chip companies within the London area. Due to successfully winning new business my client is now seeking a Project Manager to join their established team based at their flagship store in Chelsea. Project Manager - Furniture - The Role You will head up the project and follow this through to the design & project management stages working closely with the internal team of designers & estimators and the client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of projects and manage the supply chain. You will deliver projects on time and meet cost and quality targets. Project Manager - Furniture - The Package Excellent basic salary of £40,000 - £65,000 (negotiable) 25 days holiday Pension Sick pay Project Manager - Furniture - The Candidate The ideal candidate will prefrably be Italian speaking and bring to the table proven experience within the furniture industry (either contract or commercial fit out). You will have significant previous experience in project management, in particular managing complex jobs, preferably within the contract furniture industry. Project Manager - Furniture - Experience & Responsibilities: · Communicate safety with passion and credibility, in order to inspire, motivate and work with the project team to achieve the vision · Foster a continuous improvement culture by actively seeking input from all members of the project team and encouraging them to implement safety improvements · Ensure sustainability targets and standards are achieved · Have significant previous experience in project management, in particular managing complex jobs, within the relevant industry; · Have the ability to communicate effectively in order to manage customer relationships, in addition to strong planning and organisation skills to deliver operational excellence and efficiency · Have financial awareness to deliver targets, with a desire to continuously improve safety and sustainability performance. · Previous experience working with a main contractor, ideally in the furniture industry Project Manager - Furniture - About the company: My client is a UK subsidiary of one of the leading Italian furniture companies working in the luxury contract market.
