Overview
As a Node.JS developer you will be responsible for ensuring solutions are robust and technically fit for purpose and in line with the technology strategy. Working in a collaborative environment, you will liaise with product owners to contribute to the definition and understanding of incoming requirements. You won't have any management responsibilities but you will be in daily communication with our small dev team in India. WHAT SKILLS YOU'LL NEED : At least 2 years commercial experience in a Devops/SysAdmin role Experience with GCP or AWS Scripting and Automation (e.g Bash, Ansible) Experience with Nginx administration Excellent knowledge of Linux Systems Administration Good knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL) Administration Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, AngularJS and NodeJS Elasticsearch and/or MongoDB administration WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: We are looking for passionate Node.JS Developer, who enjoys connecting business logic to code, to help our team in supporting new features and additions to our website. Your main tasks will involve: Developing and implementing Node.js scripts/tools/flows for improving workflows. Translate business logic into algorithms Collaborating with the Product Owners, Remote Engineers and Analysts to design, implement the best possible solution and put it in production THE COMPANY: English Language Video Learning Ltd is a start-up. We are funded, and our first product Sensations English is built and available for people to subscribe. Sensations English (www.sensationsenglish.com) is a new, highly differentiated, news-based English Language product targeting a large and rapidly expanding global market. The product uses news and topical content structured to meet varying levels of English competency and to create an effective learning tool.
