Head of Technical Job ref: 61613 | £60,000 - £70,000 | East Midlands The company Over the last several years, this ambient manufacturer has gone from strength to strength supplying branded products to all the UK major multiples. They are currently the third largest business in their product sector with further plans to expand; therefore, this is a fantastic time to become part of their vibrant and innovative team. The job Your job as Head of Technical is to support the site manufacturing function to ensure that finished goods fully comply with the product standards, manufacturing specifications and quality management system. You will implement group QA and technical requirements supported by effective process control, manage the daily running of the quality department and personnel and oversee food safety, quality and hygiene requirements within all areas of the site. You will also drive continuous improvement throughout all aspects of the site manufacturing operation. Your experience We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual with strong technical/QA management experience from within the food manufacturing industry. You will ideally be a holder of a food related degree / HND or equivalent, Advanced Food Hygiene and Advanced HACCP. Essentially you will have strong working knowledge of supply chain, customer requirements, labelling, COSHH, HACCP, BRC and pest control.
