Overview
Head of Faculties London (Holborn) £59,100 - £62,500 per annum Permanent, Full Time Join our client to work on some of the biggest issues facing their members and healthcare and support and promote the work of anaesthetists, intensive care and pain medicine doctors. They are committed to improving patients’ safety, wellbeing and outcomes through the maintenance and advancement of standards in anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine. Through our services, our members are well trained and supported, and we uphold a central role in the development and delivery of high quality healthcare across the UK and increasingly internationally. The Head of Faculties is responsible for running the administration of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FICM) and the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPM) within the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA), working closely alongside the Deans, Faculty Boards and representatives of both Faculties. Additionally, your duties will include: Leading on the development of the Faculties’ strategic plan Building excellent working relationships with external stakeholders and RCoA departments to support the development of the Faculties’ strategy Responsibility for the management and oversight of the Faculty Boards and associated committees Leading on national recruitment for ICM Developing curricula, assessments and educational resources for the Faculties, in collaboration with the College’s Education, Training and Exams teams Developing professional standards and
