Home Care Workers wanted across Edinburgh Rates of Pay range from £9.60 to £11.80 per hour NEWS FLASH We pay Attendance Bonus: Up to £648 extra per quarter Free training with certificates ? Weekly pay JB Agency are looking for honest, hardworking, reliable individuals with a bright, friendly personality and a passion for care to join our team of experienced home care workers. You will be expected to provide all aspects of daily living support including personal care, medication and food prep and home help. Benefits for Home Care Workers Additional pay for SVQ2 (40p) & SVQ3 (80p) per hour Attendance Bonus: equivalent to 60p per hour Flexible hours Weekly Pay 4 weeks annual leave 8 Public holidays at double time Free tunic, gloves and aprons Free mobile phone for email of rotas and electronic monitoring Free Social Care TV E-learning modules Free Practical training for Moving & Handling, Medication, Catheters Characteristics we look for in Home Care Workers You are honest, reliable and are responsible You take pride in doing a good job, enthusiastically You have a bright and friendly approach You are a team player but can also work alone You are organised and punctual You have good time management You actually want to care for people In addition, we require: You have previous experience of Personal Care (excludes family care) You can provide 2 work references from the care sector You have a good working knowledge of the National Care Standards and SSSC Code of Practice You are willing to complete our free training programme You are registered or willing to register with PVG scheme You are registered or willing to register with SSSC You have your own transport (preferred but not essential) You have authority to work in the UK You are fluent in both written and spoken English
