An exciting new job opportunity for a Product Manager - Business Management Systems (BMS) fixed term contract. We are now recruiting for a Product Manager for a Business Management System to join our IT team. Your new role You will champion and promote the use of existing tools using including Office 365 across both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and prioritisation of the product road map to ensure it allows the organisation to meet its strategic priorities and the Delivery Plan. You will lead development, identifying opportunities and ensuring use of the platform is maximised and becomes an exemplar for future services across the organisation. Working collaboratively with the Head of Systems, other Product and Project Managers you will ensure processes, systems and technology are appropriately aligned to the correct toolset to maximise our investments. You will work within the Digital Data and Technology Team (DDaT) to ensure continuity of service and effective release management, including attendance at approval boards. You will represent the business at events, keep ahead of upcoming functionality available helping enabling tools to integrate with the product roadmap. You will work closely with the DDaT Technical PM to ensure: appropriate testing, release management, development support, downtime planning and management to agreed service levels. You will own and manage the support model including relationship between the organisation and 3rd party support, managing the contractual relationship, negotiation of further contracts as required and leading on resolution where any issues arise. You will review Cabinet Office Global Processes and Civil Service HR policy to constantly work towards alignment with those core areas and changing regulations. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will hold a degree level qualification or have relevant equivalent experience. You will have extensive Office 365 or relevant BMS systems experience. You will have experience as a senior Programme product management experience. You will have worked within and managed large teams. Experience with new product toll outs and Office 365/ Microsoft certification would be desirable but not essential. Excellent leadership, communication, time management and organisational skills will lead to your success in this role.
