A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Salaried GP to join an established and well supported group practice based in the Glasgow area. The location is especially easily commutable from Central Glasgow, Hamilton, Giffnock, Pollokshields & Newton Mearns. Highly rated for both patient and staff satisfaction, the practice prides itself on the reduction of GP workload and is proud to say that all GPs finish on time. There is a view to partnership for those interested and the their management team want to only take on ‘the right GP’ as their goal is to have a longstanding permanent clinical team. Clinical Pharmacist to reduce GP workload On-site Pharmacist Clinical admin team in place specifically to reduce GP workload – so you only do what is absolutely necessary for a GP to do Friendly practice with a strong team work ethic Frequent Clinical meetings and ‘coffee break’ catch-ups with the GPs. Paper-light practice Set up of the day: 13 patients in the morning 2 telephone calls 13 patients in the afternoon 2 telephone calls NO home visits (handled by ANPs & paramedics onsite) No out of hours commitments During the Covid - 19 outbreak the practices Medmatch are working with will be running a triage model – face to face consultations will be very rare and may be non-existent in most cases.
