Lead Developer (.Net), North of Salisbury, Hybrid role hands-on dev and technical lead, roadmaps, architecture Lead Developer (.Net, move into Architecture) Located in Tilshead, Salisbury (Own Transport Required) £46000 - £50000 Great Benefits Must be eligible for SC Clearance (Last 5 years resident in the UK) Your new company As a result of winning a new multi-million-pound contract with their MOD client, this Facilities Management business is in a position to add an additional Lead Developer to their well-established team. You'll be based from their head office North of Salisbury so will require your own transport with free parking and flexible working hours to suit commuters. Your new role You will be a highly motivated, innovative individual looking to progress within a secure and reputable organisation and technical team. Reporting to the Development Manager and Head of IT in turn the Lead Developers role is dynamic. You will perform a hybrid role, both hands-on .Net work and looking at Software Architecture, technical roadmaps and designing solutions as well as delivering them. It's a Microsoft house so the role surrounds the .Net framework but you will have the opportunity to work with wider technologies including SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Maximo, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence so knowledge in these areas or an interest in broadening your exposure will be a bonus. The team run Agile and you'll be encouraged to reinforce and embed these practices. They want constant communication around a shared goal so you'll help with the 'technical vision' and to ensure that the direction of travel for technology is correct. What you'll need to succeed You will have gained an excellent level of experience covering application development across the full software lifecycle, preferably within a corporate environment. Awareness / appreciation for Software Design/Architecture and technical leadership of .Net projects. 5 Years Commercial experience with ASP.NET MVC, C# - web based functionality using HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Comprehensive understanding of multiple databases including SQL Server. A good understanding of TFS, TOGAF and Azure Cloud technologies. Implementation of Agile practices and software design patterns used appropriately. Desirable Skills Industry recognised qualifications such as MCPD / Certified Scrum Master Experience of working through a Digital Transformation programme.
