Overview
Road worker required in the Inverness area for an ongoing contract. Immediate Start available Your new company You will be working for a contractor who specialises in roads construction & maintenance. You will be working as a roads maintenance worker on an ongoing temporary assignment in the Inverness area. Your new role As a roads maintenance worker you will work as part of a squad covering all elements of roads maintenance. You will be working on resurfacing, pot holes and kerbing amongst other responsibilities. In addition, you will work on ongoing winter maintenance where you will assist in gritting. You will work primarily Monday to Friday, but an element of flexibility would be preferential to work on emergency works with possible weekends and weekday overtime. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role you must have previous experience of working on roads projects, whether in roads maintenance or new build road construction. No CSCS required, however it would be preferable if you held tickets such as Digger, Dumper or Roller. In addition, it would be preferable if you held a Class 2 license. What you'll get in return This is a great opportunity to earn a competitive rate of pay, with opportunity for overtime. You will have PPE provided for you. You will be weekly paid via Hays and can work PAYE or an umbrella solution. This role is an ongoing temporary contract which could lead a more permanent contract.
