Overview

ERP Project Manager Midlands Based Up to £400 per day Our client is a leading supplier of services to the road network within the UK and is expanding its services on a global basis. With over 20 UK locations and a strong presence in the Midlands, the business is innovative in its use of technology to ensure it offers a standardised and effective service that builds client confidence through the phases of design and project delivery. With increasing need to further utilise its ERP solution and coordinate with its in house development team we are immediately looking for a contract resource to support the business. The ideal candidate will come from an ERP implementation background - any exposure to Access Systems is ideal. You’ll need to be versatile, flexible with a knack for getting under the skin of requirements and responding with practical solutions. As a busy operation with many moving parts, a good sense of humour, an ability to get the best from busy people along with a determination to meet tight deadlines is essential. Key responsibilities: · Supporting the ongoing development of the ERP solution · Owning, managing and resolving incidents, completing requests to support our contractual commitments · Acting as a technical lead in a major incident or priority 1 situations · Delivering against our business milestones · Effective prioritisation and workload management · Identifying opportunities for improvement both technically and in processes Skills / Attributes Required: · S everal years demonstratable experience in ERP · Exposure to (not necessarily qualified in) recognised project management principles · Clear and confident communicator at all levels and abilities · A proven problem solver · Able to deliver and troubleshoot complex technical solutions · Strong documentation skills · Adaptable & flexible · Good time management and prioritisation skills · S ound experience in ERP This role will be offered on an initial 6-month contract with further extensions based on performance
