Overview
Partnered with a leading Group Protection Insurer who are looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to their London region You will be expected to build solid relationships with a panel of Brokers to achieve new business sales targets and to increase market share in key strategic product areas. You will also manage and coach a team of Business Development Consultants to develop skills and increase firm's awareness with their panel of development Brokers and to increase sales and pipeline opportunities to contribute to the success of the regional sales target. The role: Achieve sales targets for self, team and region Build strong relationships with senior contacts within agreed panel to develop pipeline for self, team and the region Develop contact strategy and develop the same methodology and mindset for your team Keep up to date with market trends/what competitors are doing Resolve any queries and problems raised by intermediaries Support colleagues to help secure new business Present directly to customers on proposition Encourage a close working relationship between intermediaries, Head Office departments and Regional Office staff Act as a coach and mentor to Business Development Consultants and members of the regional sales team To support the Regional Sales Manager in strategic thinking/ideas sharing to contribute to success of the entire region Development of self and team including supporting internal and external programmes and personal development plans Responsible for team 121s To be considered: In depth knowledge of the group risk market Knowledge of adjacent markets, products and services Proven track record of delivery within group risk sales Coaching and mentoring skills Well-developed relationship management skills Please note that frequent travel is required to locations in the UK, therefore a full driving licence is essential.
