Pharmacy | Supportive team | Band 2- equivalent | Hove| Training geared towards individual needs The Montefiore Hospital are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated full time Pharmacy Assistant to join their friendly supportive team. The department covers all categories of pharmacy including oncology so the scope of what you can learn is limitless Spire Montefiore Hospital in Hove is rated "O utstanding" by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging, and diagnostic technology. There are buses that stop in the vicinity and is also walking distance of both Hove and Brighton train station Duties and responsibilities Basic dispensing and preparation of pharmaceutical products Receiving & unpacking deliveries & putting items away Processing orders & invoice queries Review and order stock as and when required Visiting various departments to top up pharmacy items Modify and structure data, computer records and stock management documents Assisting with the six-monthly stock take Helping to ensure medicines management within the hospital complies with Spire policies Assisting with any medicines management audit work as required Who we're looking for Applicants will need to have a good general standard of education and have obtained an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent accredited qualification You will need to be keen to learn and hard working Good organisational skills are essential with the ability to multitask You should be able to work as part of a team but also be able to demonstrate initiative and work in a professional and timely manner, with acute attention to detail You will be required to communicate with all levels of healthcare professionals as well as patients Benefits We offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays (This will increase to 35 on 1st Jan 2020) Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options 'Spire for you’ reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers Free Bupa wellness screening Private medical insurance Life assurance Save an average of £50 per month with our free onsite car park We commit to our employees well-being through work life balance, on-going development, support and reward.
