We manage more than 12,000 homes across our proud city. But there’s so much more to us than that. We build thriving communities and places where people want to live. We help people to learn, manage their money, launch successful businesses and improve their employability. Opportunities have arisen for two development and regeneration managers to join our expanding team that is delivering an ambitious growth programme. Our programme has a wide range of exciting projects from building new and regenerating existing homes; masterplanning and regeneration of our estates; and developing a range of affordable and commercial tenures – all in order to provide choice and growth in our neighbourhoods. We are committed to building the best homes and places we can for our existing and new residents and are looking for creative, commercially minded but customer focussed and experienced development managers. You will lead a team of development staff and be involved with all aspects of bringing forward new schemes and projects and delivering existing programmes of growth. You will help us understand the current customer experience of our properties and processes and will be pivotal in ensuring improvement is central to all the growth processes. You will need to demonstrate thorough knowledge and experience of the land, planning, appraisal, procurement; on site and risk management processes and you must be able to contribute to defining and determining the viability of schemes. We are looking for people able to present confidently to groups and at consultation events, as well as to effectively engage with partners and stakeholders in sometimes challenging development environments. We are committed to pursuing zero carbon development and to being innovative in our approach and you must be able to contribute to these aspirations. If you want to challenge yourself and help us to achieve our ambitions we would like to hear from you. In return we offer excellent rewards to enjoy today and tomorrow.
