Job Role: Head of Organisational Development & Culture Salary: £50,682 - £55,159 per annum Hours: 36.25 hours per week, full time Contract: Permanent Locations: Dual locations - GMCA HQ (Manchester City Centre) & Fire Service HQ (Swinton) Role profile Your role: As the Head of OD & Culture for Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) you will build on the progress made to develop and implement a comprehensive and inclusive OD Strategy that ensures that the leaders of the organisation create an environment where all employees feel that they are valued and empowered and that they have the opportunity to grow and develop with the city region. In particular the job holder will play a key role in the change process for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS). The main priority areas for the successful candidate will be to; • Further develop the "We are GMCA" OD Strategy and plan to ensure that the leadership and culture of the GMCA effectively supports the delivery ambitions of the Greater Manchester Strategy. • Design and deliver an integrated OD programme that supports the transformation of the GMFRS to ensure that each and every member of the team feel equipped and enabled to deliver the mission to save lives, protect communities and effectively work together with partner organisations. This is a high profile, demanding and unique role, requiring close working as an integral part of an experienced and supportive HR and OD team and collaborative working with senior leadership teams across the organisation. The post holder will report in to the Strategic Director of HR and OD and will work closely with GMCA leadership, including the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Fire Officer.
